Kitchen Exhaust Hood - Steelkraft
A kitchen exhaust hood has one job that everything else depends on: pull heat, smoke and grease off the cooking line so the kitchen stays safe, cool enough to work in and compliant with fire and hygiene norms. An undersized hood leaves a kitchen hot and smoky and lets grease settle where it should not; an oversized one wastes conditioned air and energy. Steelkraft sizes every hood to the actual heat load of the cooking line beneath it, measured during the site survey, so the extraction matches the equipment rather than a rough guess.
The hood is fabricated in stainless steel with removable baffle filters that trap grease and lift out for cleaning, which is what keeps a hood safe over the long run. We build in a grease gutter and collection cup, and can add integrated lighting and a fresh-air supply so the kitchen stays balanced rather than going into negative pressure. Ducting is sized to the airflow the line produces and routed to suit your building, and fans are selected to deliver the static pressure needed for long runs. We design the full extraction path, fabricate the hood and ducting, then install and balance the system on site so it actually clears the air over your line.
