Bulk cooking at industrial scale needs equipment a standard kitchen never touches. Tilting boiling pans, steam cooking ranges, bulk cookers and large cooking ranges turn out rice, dal, curries and stock by the hundreds of litres, with jacketed walls for even heat and tilting mechanisms that let one operator empty a full pan safely. We size the bulk line to the meals per shift, so the kitchen produces enough for each sitting without cooking food too far ahead and holding it too long.
High-volume serving is what makes a shift change work. A manufacturing plant releases its workforce in waves, and the serving line has to clear each wave fast. We build long bain-marie and serving counter runs that open many service points at once, holding food at safe temperature through the rush, so workers are back on the floor on time. Storage and refrigeration are scaled to hold bulk ingredients and prepped food between deliveries, and heavy-duty storage racks keep dry goods and utensils organised in a high-throughput kitchen.
Industrial canteen design has to survive hard, constant use. Everything is fabricated in grade 304 stainless steel with reinforced frames and welded joints, built to take years of high-volume service and daily deep cleaning. Wash-up is sized so trays and utensils recirculate within the sitting rather than piling up.
